About Jim Ehrman

HarvestNet is thrilled to announce that Jim Ehrman has been appointed as our School of Ministry Director, just in time for our next school year.  Jim has traveled the nations doing leadership development within YWAM and numerous church networks—a journey which eventually led him to help launch a YWAM base in the shadows of Yale University.  Jim later led a research center at Yale Divinity School which focused on the explosive growth of global Christianity and its implications for the West.  More recently he became the Vice President and Dean of Evangelical Seminary, as well as its professor of Culture and Leadership.  Jim has been a much-loved instructor in HSM for several years and, to top it all off, he is married to Rachel, the school’s current administrator!  Recently he was also appointed the Executive Pastor of Advancement at Ephrata Community Church with an emphasis on leadership training and multiplication—a perfect fit for the goals of the HarvestNet School of Ministry and its partnership with local churches.

Additionally, you may have heard that we are launching another school in the Czech Republic in September, as well as seeing some of our materials used in Liberia.  Our vision and mission is to multiply opportunities to equip frontline workers for global harvest.  Jim brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in training leaders and is well qualified to develop and model how HSM can be reproduced in other nations.  These are exciting times and Jim has a clear and expansive vision for HSM.  We are excited to welcome him to the school.

Maybe you can join him in that effort?  If you are or someone you know is curious about attending HSM this September, Jim would like to talk with you (jimehrman@harvestnetintl.com.).  You can read more at our website or apply online for the school in Pennsylvania—or contact our office for more information on the school in Czech Republic.  Accessibility is key to our training approach—so HSM-Lancaster will be held one night a week with a one Saturday-a-month intensive, and the Czech Republic school will utilize a weekend format.  We hope to see you or members of your community this fall!
